It's still a long way to the complete character editor, but I'm willing to share with you what I have done so far. I'm working hard every day and put a lot of passion to this project, but it doesn't mean anything without your approval! So please, check it out and share your thoughts.
Even with same brows, same eyes, without additional coloring and without details customization - new face editor looks nice!

Currently in NF3D we use premade face shape switches. So every character can only have one of the dozen previously crafted shapes. Well, no more! New character editor will have sliders to adjust face details (i.e. nose with, eyes deep, ears size, etc) PLUS handcrafted face presets. And as you can see...

Many of you was upset that muscularity always was a single slider... Well, no more single sliders! With gentle slider combination you could really craft a shape of a character, building a beef or a light fit. From now on muscle volumes will be separated on groups:

Continue working on the next generation of character editor. Now it allows unlimited detail layers. We can combine makeup, war paint, scars, bruises, blood e.t.c. And it's possible to proceed with it ON RUNTIME! This way your fighters can start the fight in a good health but after some beating their body could become swollen ...

Previous models didn't have any face bones and was driven only by sculpted shapes. Emotions was limited to that couple of pre-made shapes and was hard to actually animate. Now we have a full face rig with bones (yes, that blue spheres all over the face), so we are open to:
