Things to keep in mind:
-every fold is essentially a pipe/cylinder
-all folds interact because they're a part of the same fabric

A few drawing studies and a couple tips:
-never space your folds evenly
-always vary fold sizes
-folds are basically tapering and curving cylinders, and they cast shadows!
