included my rough sketch too! I had friends look over the sequence of roughs before I committed to final sketches, usually I don't do them as separate from the sketch (I do thumbnails, but they're not half as detailed)

The eyes took longer than the whole rest of the page! I shot myself in the foot by making her face not tilt enough at the start, so looking up through eyelashes wasn't really...possible
I still like the closed eyes best, but it has less meaning! I'd be pretty shocked if someone drank from my cup but I know other people ...

Every time I export a page in this scene, I notice something I forgot (usually the glitter) and I have to do it again @-@

I find using local colours...hard to make it romantic or atmospheric? I tend to bring in the overlays and multiplys for mood lighting haha.
I ended up thumbnailing this one digitally, because I didn't like the paper one I'd done, so I inculded that too!
