I thought something looked wrong. What I had posted yesterday was PAGE 5. Totally messed up and left out this page which is all swimming. It's easily one of my favs of the story and I can't believe I skipped it!

I got a very nice rejection letter from 2000ad today. Can't say I disagree with the criticisms, but still a little disappointed. Oh well. I have other ideas for submitting to publishers!

Warm up sketch

I usually have a bunch of reference photos about when I'm drawing a comic. I had this pic among them... I think it was a 19th century Japanese fella, but who knows. Maybe it was just a filter.

Damaged promotional sketch

I'll be exhibiting at Wonder Con and Emerald City Comic Con, and have been considering doing some promotional material for my Patreon page, and the story Damaged. This is a sketch that could end up being the cover for the story when done, but may also make a nifty postcard, print, tee-shirt, etc.
