In between writing this story and getting to this page I have made the acquaintance of an actual pup named Gizmo. I'm not sure if I should change his name now... I really only chose "Gizmo" because it has alliteration with "ginger basenji".

This page was a lot of fun, most fun I had with a page in a while. I guess I enjoy drawing faces more than crowd scenes and perspective. It didn't occur to me until being nearly finished with it that this pup that flirts with Grant is a little similar looking to Dr. Bonito. I hope it isn't confusing :/

These were the first two I did. I thought I lost the one on the right, so I got a few more blank ones, drew on them, then found it. So I ended up drawing 5 when I intended to do just 3. I also tried to draw a little Feral or Doug when I signed a book for a customer or friends. I should have taken pictures of those 😝
