Vanaa Concept Doodles!

Vanaa of the Renaissance! Ya know, after starting with these gloobs I think I realize just how easy it is to get trapped into making variant collectible toys. And ya know, I'm not complaining! I'm enjoying it and the basic form is simple enough that it can be adjusted to a lot of different portraits and caricatures.

Honestly I should consider working in a "rougher" style. I think I could put out full pages of drawings like that cass one in relatively short order.

I've been really frustrated for a number of reasons this past week, I hope it doesn't feel like I'd been passing it off to you guys. On the other hand though, I'm pretty happy with some recent style experiments. I'll see what we this can do for me in the future.

more style experiments with exaggerated figures and abs. I know people get in trouble for things like getting the wrong skin tone or even facial features for the same character between drawings. I get the feeling I'll end up drawing abs and hips wrong most of the time.
