It's never a priority for me, but it's interesting when a shot goes, as they say, viral. Yeah, this shot hasn't gone properly viral, but it's my most popular shot on social media in a very, very long time.

Did a ton of shots outdoors, way north of Houston this summer. Was super hot, and I hadn't shot in this spot in almost a decade, so it was fun to explore it again.

Throwbacks of exploration to 12 years ago...

These remind of me of when I was WILDLY exploring production/editing styles back then – title overlays, background compositing (before AI!) and more. Was fun! But, a lot I ended up getting away from – just too token and not my thing, really.

Evolution? Well, we shall see this week!

The first time I shot "cars with models" was in 2011. On a parking garage roof, and at night, and I had no idea what I was doing (see attached shot!) Following that shoot was a near endless string of "cars with girls" sets for 5-6 years after.

Something a bit different...

Linds brought this fabric to our last shoot, and we had fun experimenting with it. She, as usual, was fantastic in this exploration. I went with a subtle backlit look, with some fill up front just to avoid full silhouette.

Thought these ended up really interesting!

Lindsey and I shot a LOT a few weeks back – just had so many great concepts! She is a great friend and ideal to work with, so, we always kill it (IMHO).
